Refund Policy

Overview

This Refund Policy describes when and how Coday, Inc. ("Coday") issues refunds. Different parts of the Service have different refund eligibility depending on the nature of the work performed.

All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Disputes initiated through your bank or card issuer follow Stripe’s chargeback process.

Subscription plans (Basic and Pro)

Every Coday subscription comes with a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of your first payment.

The guarantee applies to the first payment only. Monthly renewals after the initial 14-day window are not refundable.

You may cancel future renewals at any time from your dashboard. When you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period and no further charges are made.

If you change your mind during the cancellation grace period, you can resume the subscription before it ends from the dashboard.

Cloud infrastructure usage

Cloud infrastructure usage (compute, storage, bandwidth) is billed monthly based on what your application actually uses.

Past usage charges are non-refundable because the underlying cloud costs have already been incurred.

If you believe a usage charge is incorrect (for example a billing error or anomaly), contact [email protected] within 30 days of the invoice date and we will investigate.

Set a monthly cap on cloud usage in your dashboard. When the cap is reached, Coday pauses new deployments until you raise it.

How to request a refund

Email [email protected] with the subject line "Refund Request" and include:

  • Your account email.
  • The specific invoice ID or charge you are asking about.
  • A brief reason for the request.

We respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method via Stripe, typically within 5–10 business days after approval.

Disputes and chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback through your bank or card issuer without first contacting Coday support, we may temporarily suspend your account pending resolution.

We strongly encourage you to contact [email protected] first — most issues can be resolved within a few business days.

If a chargeback is upheld in your favor by the payment processor, the related Coday account and its projects may be terminated.

Exceptions

Refunds may be granted at Coday’s discretion in cases of demonstrated fraud, account compromise, or other extraordinary circumstances.

Coday reserves the right to refuse refund requests that appear to be fraudulent, abusive, or in bad faith.

Changes to this policy

Coday may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or by a prominent notice in the dashboard at least 14 days before they take effect.

Refund eligibility for a specific transaction is determined by the policy in effect at the time of payment.
